Sorry For The Delay

Well its been a while since I posted. We have been busy with some home improvement projects. The kids had spring break and Sarah got her cast off. She has been doing well with therapy. She is almost weened off of all of her medications. We are excited that she is almost done with medicines.

Easter And A New Family Member

Well Easter came and went. The kids had three egg hunts yesterday. We have enough candy to last until Christmas. Sarah has been doing quite well. She hasn’t vomited for a while and seems to get better in every area all the time.

Kim and I lost our minds and let Logan get a new puppy for his birthday. I am not sure why we thought this was a good idea. We dropped the girls off at Nana’s house on Saturday and headed to Indiana to get Logan a black lab puppy. The people we bought him from were very nice and let Logan pick from the three males they had left. Logan is doing well taking care of him and Miley is still getting used to him. Logan decided to name him Murphy II. Without looking back in my posts I am not sure if I ever mentioned our first Murphy. He was a black lab that Kim and I got before we got married. We had to have him put to sleep last year. It was very hard for Kim and I since he was our first pet we had together.

Still Working Hard

I spent a couple of days at therapy with Sarah. Usually she is at therapy while I am at work so I have never been. She was complaining a lot but she still worked hard. They don’t give her the princess treatment like the nurses at the hospital. Her therapists do a good job of mixing fun with the work.

I took some pictures while I was there. Sorry if they are bad. I took them with my Blackberry. I forgot to bring a real camera.

Processing Sarah

Over the weekend we went and had our Kings Island passes processed. I am not sure if I put this in any of the posts last summer. We never processed our 2008 Kings Island passes (we were really busy for some reason last year), so Kings Island was nice enough to let us transfer them to this year. The people at the pass processing were nothing but nice about the whole thing. Sarah was so excited about getting her new KI pass that she celebrated by vomiting in mommy’s car on the way home. It was an isolated vomiting so we are not too worried (I think).

Sarah had a good day at school today. She seems to have a little cold. I think it is near impossible to keep a child well these days. I don’t remember getting sick that much as a kid.

Shaving Cream Therapy

Sarah is dealing with the broken arm quite well. It doesn’t really seam to bother her at all. She had a friend over last night to play.

Kim sent me these pictures yesterday from therapy. I can guess what function is being worked on but it is still funny to see.
