My name is Megan and my daughter Ellen's story is very similar to Sarah's. I just read every word of your blog and it was so helpful to see the ups and down's of Sarah's recovery after the hemispherectomy. We are moving toward one as well as Ellen was diagnosed with Rasmussen's in January and has started declining and having tons of seizures every day.

We have long term monitoring next week as the "first step" toward the hemi. We are worried and sad and hopeful.

I would love an update on Sarah and maybe the chance to email you? I know you must be busy, but it is so helpful for me to see a real family who has gone through this.

Lots of love to your family,
Megan

It has been almost a year since your last update. We still pray and worry about this little angel and your entire family. Would love to hear how you are all doing.

Best Regards,
Chaplain Bob

Thanks for the update! She looks great! It takes a good strong family to get through this and you all seem to be helping her and enjoying some good times from the looks of the pictures. I hope you have a happy Easter.
